Thanksgiving

Hello!
お元気ですか?

It's finally Thanksgiving break! I am so excited for Thanksgiving,
because I get to see a bunch of people from my dad's side of the family
(including my cousin's adorable daughter haha )
She is seriously the cutest little girl ever ~

I'm also excited because it's November. And it's autumn (あき or 秋 in Japanese), which is one of my favourite seasons. Autumn and winter, yo!
What is your favourite season?

In dance class we are rehearsing for our winter show at a local tree-lighting ceremony. It's such a cute dance...we get to be dolls waking up on Christmas morning! The girls in my class are so adorable, too  In my class of 9 girls three of us are 15 and the rest are about 11.
They are really the cutest.
彼らは本当にかわいいです。まじで。

I'm hoping to finally sign up for my studio's ballet classes after winter break. I've been itching to do so...I'm only in contemporary right now, and while I love it, I really really miss ballet.

This week I am really focusing on getting some Christmas presents done. I've already finished knitting a beanie for my friend and I'm currently making felted mittens for his sister. I'm taking a trip to the fabric store tomorrow morning, as well, to pick up some black chiffon and some grosgrain ribbon to make a couple of wrap skirts for ballet class (one for me, and one for my close friend).

Making presents is stressful!

I hope you are all having a great day, and happy (early) Thanksgiving to those of you who are American! And happy (very late) Thanksgiving to everyone in Canada!

shopping

word of the day:  買い物 (かいもの) - shopping

Hello, everyone!
Today I went out to the mall with my younger sister to do some (early) Christmas shopping (and some shopping for myself...of course).
I got a couple of things for myself, three t-shirts for my brother, and some body butter for my mom.

What I bought (minus the gifts for my family)
The makeup brushes are my sister's but she wanted them on my blog ;;

Shirt + Sweater + makeup brushes: Forever21;
face mask, eyelashes, pencils + lead: Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle

Eyelashes..."Like Human Hair" ?? haha
Pomegranate face mask                                                    Pencils + pencil lead

I hope the mask works well, haha...I look forward to using the eyelashes, too. I thought they looked cute and they were different from the other ones I have. Kind of expensive (boo-freaking-hoo) but whatever.
And also, cute pencils because life is always better when you have cute writing utensils.

I loved the gold flecks in this sweater!
The polka-dots on the shirt are kind of a silvery-gold...not quite silver or gold?
I hope you all had/are having a good day!
Have you gone shopping recently?

Talk to you later!

hello

Hello!
どうしたの?!?!

My name is Erin, and welcome to my blog!
You may (or may not) know me from my tumblr.
(if you're coming from there, hello! nice to see you again ~)

I love fashion, cooking, dancing, and blogging.
I used to be really into gyaru-style (like, hardcore, DUDE) but have recently taken a liking to the "guro-kawa" (creepy-cute) style. I'm not sure how well it would suit me, but it's cute, so heck. I like it.  HATERS GONNA HATE'
I spend a lot of time being obnoxious
and I love Japan! I am slowly conquering the beast that is the Japanese language.

I'm usually a very serious person, but I sometimes forget that when blogging...
(so...sorry if I seem childish at times )
I promise I'm not immature!

I hope to share with you on this blog the "adventures of my daily life" (exciting, right?).
I will do my best to update as often as I can!

Thank you for reading!
I will update soon!
